The Venue, spanning 3,000 square feet, offers a spacious foyer, a grand main room with ample space for a DJ and dance floor, a bar & kitchenette, a small private room, and an outdoor terrace that spans an additional 1,000 square feet. Additionally, there is a 600 square foot space for prep & storage.
With picturesque views of the Hocking Hills landscape and a serene pond just steps outside, The Venue provides the perfect spot for outdoor ceremonies. Rental of The Venue includes access to both the indoor space and the surrounding grounds, making it an ideal choice for events.

The Venue
The Barn
Decorations are not permitted to be stapled, taped, nailed, or any other substance to be affixed to any of the walls, floors, or ceilings in the rooms. Confetti, Glitter, and Rice are not permitted.
Unscented, single wick, enclosed in glass container candles are permitted.
You are permitted to provide your own food or bring in outside catering. Caterers must provide proof of business license, workers’ compensation, and insurance. A signed catering contract with a designated fee of 15% must be on file with The Venue prior to your event. We are happy to provide you with a list of preferred caterers.
For additional services such as DJ/band, florist, photographer, cake/desserts, event planner, officiant, and more, we offer both options: clients can choose from our list of preferred vendors or opt to bring in their own. We’re happy to provide you with recommendations upon request.
A licensed bartender is required for events where alcohol is served. Bartenders must provide proof of license prior to the event. No selling of alcohol is permitted.
We encourage responsible consumption. Public intoxication and underage drinking will not be tolerated and can result in your entire party being asked to vacate the premises.
Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited within the Venue. A fee of $350.00 may be incurred if any evidence of smoking inside the Venue is discovered, in addition to any applicable damage or cleaning fees.
You are responsible for setting up and cleaning up your event within your designated rental time. Additional time may be permitted upon request and approval. Please note that we do not offer storage for any items (flowers, food, decorations, etc.) overnight. Anything you wish to keep must be taken with you when you leave The Venue at Hocking Hills Cabins and Resort. Failure to clean up by the end of your reservation time may result in additional fees, including the forfeiture of your security deposit.
A 15% service charge is applied to all Venue rentals, which covers the use of our equipment, utilities, liability insurance fees, necessary permits, staff costs, and other administrative expenses.
Additional cleaning fees are determined based on the type of reservation.
We do not offer security services on the day of your event; however, we can make recommendations for outside providers. In the event of a safety or security issue during your event, please contact the appropriate authorities.
Pets with certain restrictions, such as leash requirements, designated areas, or additional fees may be permitted upon request with approval.
The Venue is accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you require any additional assistance or accommodation, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist you.
We offer parking facilities to accommodate the number of attendees at your event.
In case of a medical, fire, or police emergency, please dial 911 immediately. For other non-life threatening urgent matters, please attempt to contact our office first at 614-245-8267. If you are unable to reach anyone during office hours or if it is after hours, weekend, or on a holiday, please refer to the designated contact person listed in the Venue rental agreement.

Cancellation made 150 days or more before the event date will result in a refund of all funds, minus 20% of the deposit.
Cancellation within 90 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the entire rental fee and all other applicable fees.
