FAQs and Tips
Electrical outages can and do happen in the country. They can be caused by ice, wind, and electrical storms to name a few. We cannot give rental concessions for an act of God resulting in the loss of power and the inconvenience it brings. Should you encounter an electrical storm, please unplug electronic equipment and stay out of the hot tub. If traveling during anticipated snowfall – we recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle. We do not offer rental refund for weather.
Should you have any problems with heat or A/C during your stay, contact the party referenced in your Welcome letter and handbook at the cabin or your online guest area. Please make sure the unit is on before reporting an outage. In addition, from time to time, mechanicals such as the HVAC system may become inoperable during your stay due to conditions beyond our control. Once notified of such issues, we will send a technician to address them, but no refund or concession will be given.
Please be aware that you are coming to stay in the middle of the woods. While we have our cabins treated on a regular basis, it is likely that you will see bugs/wildlife during your stay. We do not offer rental concessions if you see any during your stay.
